Before jumping in, you need to:
Make sure you have Wirecast latest version installed. You do not need to buy additional plugins or "Social" modules.
Have PC or Mac capable to run the streaming session:
- RAM: 4GB (8GB or more is recommended)
- Processor: INTEL I5 (I7 recommended)
- Internet: 10MB or more (Ethernet recommended)
A basic Live Streaming session workflow would be something like this:
To do so, you need to follow the steps below:
1. ADD SHOT
At your Wirecast workflow, click on "+" on the first layer to Add a Shot.
Choose "Background" > "New Web Page" then click on "Add".
You will see your shot added to the first layer (Master Layer 1).
Copy your Flowics Public Visualization URL from Google Chrome:
Paste it on "Address" within Source Properties:
4. SOURCE PROPERTIES
Change your Source Name:
Make sure to set the Video Resolution to 1280x720.
Enable Transparent Background.
Your Shot will look like this:
5. OUTPUT SETTINGS
Click on "Output" > "Output settings"
On "Select an output destination":
Choose "Facebook Live", Then click on "OK".
Change the name of your stream:
Make sure the Encoding is set to 720p30 (4Mbps or 2 Mbps according to your internet connection) X264 H.264
Click on "Authenticate" to Log in with Facebook:
Select the page, profile or group you would like to stream.
Change the title and description.
Once you are done, click on "Create"
An RTMP location address will appear in "Location", then click on "Ok"
6. START BROADCASTING
Click on "Output" > "Start / Stop Broadcasting"
You will see the Broadcasting Icon in green, as well as the internet connections properties, working:
7. FACEBOOK LIVE VIDEO
In your Facebook page, group or profile click on "Videos", you will see your Facebook Live Video Broadcasting through Wirecast:
