The Form element is one of the most powerful elements in Visualizations since it allows you to run lead generation Mechanics.
You can include this form on any landing page you are promoting through Facebook, Google, Twitter or any other ad provider, and measure conversions when your users register their data, thus, increasing your campaign ROI.
What is more, in platforms like Facebook Ads (apart from the email audience you can download for each Form element on Flowics), you can also build your own audiences for them automatically, retargeting Facebook users who submitted the form with other ads or campaigns.
In order to achieve this, you will need to get a conversion pixel or tag from the provider you are using and copy-paste it into the section for conversion tags, right in the sidebar settings of the Form Element.
For example, if you are running a Facebook and Google Analytics campaign, you can include both tags like this:
In general, you have at least 2 methods to track conversions:
- Include not only the conversion code but also a specific code that results in an event in the ad provider platform you are working with. The availability and instructions to track events depend on each platform.
- Include only the conversion code and take into account that all conversion tags you include in each Form will be loaded in the Thank You page after users submit their data under the following URL: https://viz.flowics.com/public/{firstId}/{secondId}/conversion-tags. You can obtain this URL by opening the landing version of your Visualization, copy-pasting the resulting URL and replacing the "/live" at the end of your Visualization URL with "/conversion-tags".
In the following sections, you will find out how to get and configure some known conversion tags.
You should get the pixel code, which is enough for the conversion to work. However, as described above, you can also get some code to track an event in particular:
Additionally, you can configure your audiences on Facebook to collect all the users who submitted the form by targeting the URL that loaded the tag, e.g. https://viz.flowics.com/public/45744b07a8c69eaeed8f621e0a4775a2/5899f05f61e881001ce1b214/conversion-tags.
You can verify if the tag is working in the Visualization by using the Facebook Pixel Helper, although you will need to submit data in the Form creating a real new entry in the corresponding Flowics audience.

In this case, you need to get the code, choose the type of conversion and also configure the conversion tags URL in the Exact URL field, e.g. https://viz.flowics.com/public/45744b07a8c69eaeed8f621e0a4775a2/5899f05f61e881001ce1b214/conversion-tags.
You can verify if the tag is working by using the Twitter Pixel Helper, although you will need to submit data in the Form creating a real new entry in the corresponding Flowics audience.

Google Analytics
In Google Analytics, you will need to get the tracking code from the Admin section:
You will need to include this code in the Conversion Tags box from the Form element even if you already did so with the Google Analytics ID in the General Settings for tracking pageviews and other metrics on the Visualization as a whole.
Then, you can decide to additionally include a call to a Google Analytics event or just build the Google Analytics Goal for tracking the conversion through targeting the conversion tags URL, e.g. https://viz.flowics.com/public/45744b07a8c69eaeed8f621e0a4775a2/5899f05f61e881001ce1b214/conversion-tags.
You can verify if the tag is working by submitting data in the Form creating a real new entry in the corresponding Flowics audience and checking if you receive the conversion in the Conversions Real-Time report on Google Analytics.
