Working with Data Connectors: Stats Perform Stats Hockey NHL

This Data Connector is not included in the Graphics license and requires payment of an additional licensing fee. If you need access please contact your designated Customer Success Manager.


This data connector provides detailed insights on NHL league events. 


This data connector requires an API key. if you do not have one available, request it to your Customer Success Manager designated at Stats Perform.

Setting up Data Connectors

Before working with Data Connectors in Graphics you must set it up. Learn how to do it here. 

Adding the Data Connector to the Graphics Editor

Add a Data Connector to your tree (1) and then click on Connect (2).

From the Data Connector panel choose Stats Perform: Stats - Hockey NHL (if it's not listed contact your designated Customer Success Manager)

This dataset provides information on NHL games, Standings, Stats, Leaders, Events, Stats Player, Team Stats and many more.

Leaders Ranking Players

Data regarding player standings during the season such as 

  • goals
  • team 
  • city
  • player name
  • rank.



Event information, such as

  • Teams names
  • Date and time 
  • Stadium name 
  • And more data.

You can also obtain information about 

  • Schedule of the matches
  • The match status
  • Scoreboard 
  • Detailed information of the venue.


Stats Players

Information about a particular player such as

  • Hits
  • Blocks
  • Shoots on goal
  • Games played
  • Goals
  • Assists
  • Face off
  • And more.

And we can also obtain the information with the data that the player has obtained during a game.


Team Stats

This data set has the statistics of the team during the season as:

  • Rank division
  • Winning percentage
  • Total points 
  • Goals against
  • Total wins
  • Total losses
  • And more


Line Up

Using of several datasets we can have a graphic where it shows different data, for example 

  • Teams
  • City name
  • Player name
  • Season


Data Sync

The following table lists the acquisition style of each of the datasets available in this connector.

If style is Unattended. it means that the connector will automatically refresh the data every certain period of time specified by the user (by default it's 300 seconds). 

If style is attended, then the graphics operator needs to manually refresh the data to get the latest version of the stats.
