This Data Connector is not included in the Graphics license and requires payment of an additional licensing fee. If you need access please contact your designated Customer Success Manager.
Scoreboard OCR uses visual recognition technology to read digits from a physical scoreboard, deliver them as data, and send them to your Flowics Graphics.
Setting up Scoreboard Token
To Obtain the Token for the integration with Scoreboard you need to go to the Settings section (1) select Data Connectors - Inputs, (2) Add the option of Scoreboard Websocket Integration - Timing & Scores.
Once the input (3) is added, the token is available for you to copy.
When generating the connector, it will contain an example Schema that you can edit if necessary. (4), click on "Save".
The OCR app only accepts numerical variables and does not allow the use of string variables.
Setting up Scoreboard OCR
1. Select a Capture Device

2. Choose Output
Pick Flowics as the Output Type.
At the Flowics WSS URL field replace the Token. Then click on Add.
3. Add Digits
Define the corners of the scoreboard.
Click on Add Field (1) >> Name it (2) >> Click on Automatic (3) >> Using your mouse select the region that contains the data for this field (4). Repeat these steps for each field you want to add.
For now, you can use:
Time: to display the counter/clock
Home: to display the score of the home team
Away: to display the score of the visitor team
Adding the Data Connector to the Graphics Editor
First, you need to add a Data Connector to your tree (1) and then click on Connect (2).
From the Data Connectors panel choose Scoreboard OCR (if it is not listed contact your designated Customer Success Manager).

After selecting a table go to View Source. You will be able to see the connector structure.
Select the Event Stream option so you can see the logs in order to confirm the data is coming in.

With the data now set up, you can start creating your tree by using some Text elements to add the Home and Away scores, and the Time.
Troubleshooting
In the case of having carried out the previous steps and not receiving any data, check the following:
Verify that no extra space has been added to the end of the URL, when copying the URL to the OCR connector from the Data Input, (Step 2 in Setting up Scoreboard OCR) as this would cause an extra character to be generated when saving the configuration file.
To be sure that this is configured correctly, you have to go to this path and make sure that the URL does not have that extra character:
C:\Users\<Your User>\AppData\Local\ScoreBoardOCR\user_config.json
In case of having it, it would look like in the image "\n"
Remove the "\n" section of the line and save the file.
