Why is there a watermark on my output?

A watermark appears when your Output is not enabled, or when your company has used up all available Output slots. This is intentional — it lets you prepare and test graphics without consuming your live quota.

How to remove the watermark

Step 1 — Enable the Output

  1. Open the Remote Control of your Graphics Package.

  2. Click the Enable Live button in the top bar.

  3. The watermark disappears within a few seconds.

You can also enable the Output from the Project Home — find your package card and click Enable.

Step 2 — If you cannot enable it (quota reached)

If you click Enable Live and receive an error, your company has reached its Output quota — all available slots are in use.

  1. Go to Settings → Company Usage → View All Outputs.

  2. Identify any Outputs that are not currently in use.

  3. Disable them to free up a slot.

  4. Return to your package and enable the Output again.

If you regularly run out of Output slots, contact your Customer Success Manager to upgrade your plan.

Watermark behavior by account type

Account type

Watermark removed when...

Paid plan

Output is enabled and quota is available

14-day trial

Output is enabled during the trial period

Expired trial

Cannot be removed — upgrade required

miniS (Tricaster)

Output is enabled (1 slot included with purchase)

Demo account

Output is enabled during the active demo period

miniS users: Your Tricaster miniS license includes one active Output slot. The watermark simply means the Output has not been enabled yet — open the Remote Control and click Enable Live.

Trial users: You can remove the watermark during the 14-day trial by enabling the Output. After the trial expires, the watermark cannot be removed until the account is upgraded.

The Output is enabled, but the watermark is still showing

  1. Check the correct Output URL. If you use vMix, OBS, or Tricaster, confirm the URL configured in your broadcast system matches the Output you just enabled. A watermark appearing only in the broadcast system — but not in the browser — almost always means the URL points to a different, disabled Output.

  2. Open the Output URL directly in a browser and confirm the watermark is gone there. If it is gone in the browser, the issue is in how your broadcast system is loading the URL.

  3. Check the project status. Go to Project Home and confirm the project is set to Running. A paused or stopped project shows a watermark even if the Output appears enabled.

  4. Wait 10–15 seconds after enabling. The Output can take a moment to update. Refresh the Output view before assuming it is not working.

Watermark appeared mid-broadcast (urgent)

If a watermark appears unexpectedly during a live show:

  1. Open the Remote Control immediately and confirm Enable Live is still on.

  2. If it is on, another Output was likely enabled at the same time on your account, pushing you over quota. Go to Settings → Company Usage → View All Outputs and disable any active Output that is not yours.

  3. If you cannot access Settings during the broadcast, contact support immediately with your package URL.

When to contact support

Contact the support team if:

  • The watermark persists after enabling the Output and verifying the URL in a browser.

  • You receive a quota error, but believe your account has available slots.

  • Your trial or plan status is unclear.

When contacting support, include: your Graphics Package URL and the Output URL.
