The Viz Flowics Graphics Editor runs entirely in a web browser. No software installation is required. However, the machine running the editor should meet the following recommendations for a smooth experience, especially when working with complex animations, multiple data connections, or large asset libraries.
Recommended specifications
Component | Recommended |
Processor | Dual-core 2 GHz or faster |
Memory | 8 GB RAM or more |
GPU | Dedicated GPU recommended for complex animations |
Display resolution | 1920×1080 or higher |
Internet connection | 5 Mbps or more |
Note: The Graphics Editor can run on lower specifications, but performance may degrade when working with large packages, multiple scenes, or high-resolution assets.
Browser requirements
The Graphics Editor requires a supported and up-to-date browser.
Recommended: Google Chrome (latest version)
Also supported: Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Safari

Display settings
Screen resolution
The Graphics Editor adapts to your screen resolution. However, for the best editing experience, a resolution of 1920×1080 or higher is recommended. Working on a low-resolution display may limit the visible canvas area and panel space.
Browser zoom level
The browser zoom level must be set to 100%. A zoom level other than 100% can cause misalignment between what you see in the editor and what appears in the live output.
To reset Zoom: Ctrl + 0 (Windows) / Cmd + 0 (Mac)
For more details, see → Checking Your Screen Resolution
Operating system
The Graphics Editor works on any operating system that supports a modern browser:
✅ Windows 10 or later
✅ macOS running a supported browser
✅ Linux (Chrome or Firefox recommended)
⚠️ Tablets — basic browsing works, but the editor is not optimized for touch input or small screens
❌ Mobile phones — not supported
What affects editor performance
These factors can impact how smoothly the Graphics Editor runs:
Number of overlays and scenes
Packages with many overlays and complex scenes require more memory and processing power. If the editor feels slow, consider splitting the package into smaller ones.
Asset size
Large image or video files increase load times and memory usage. Optimize assets before uploading, compress images, and keep video files as short as possible.
Number of data connections
Each active data connection adds background processing. If you are experiencing slowness, temporarily disable data connectors that are not needed during design work.
Multiple browser tabs
Running the Graphics Editor alongside other heavy browser tabs or applications can reduce available memory. Close unnecessary tabs when working on complex packages.
Before you start designing — checklist
✅ Browser is updated to its latest version (Chrome recommended)
✅ Browser zoom level is set to 100%
✅ Screen resolution is 1920×1080 or higher
✅ At least 8 GB RAM available on the machine
✅ Internet connection is stable at 5 Mbps or more
✅ Unnecessary browser tabs and applications are closed
