Viz Flowics Supported Browsers

This article outlines the recommended browsers for seamless performance of Viz Flowics Graphics

Most Viz Flowics workflows run directly in a web browser. Using a supported, up-to-date browser ensures that the Graphics Editor, Remote Control, Rundown Control, and most importantly, your output work correctly and perform at their best.

Always use the latest version of your browser. Older versions may cause rendering issues, missing features, or degraded performance in the Graphics Editor.

Chrome is the recommended browser for the best experience, particularly when working with complex animations, data bindings, and the Graphics Editor.

Not supported

  • Internet Explorer

  • Legacy browsers are no longer maintained by their vendors

For external systems using CEF

If you are using Viz Flowics graphics inside a production system via a browser source, the rendering quality depends on the Chromium Embedded Framework (CEF) version used by that system.

CEF is the engine that powers the browser inside production systems that render graphics through Chromium, including many versions of TriCaster, vMix, and similar platforms. An outdated CEF version can cause:

  • Graphics are not rendering correctly

  • Animations are playing incorrectly or not at all

  • Features not working as expected

Always keep your production system up to date to ensure it uses a recent CEF release.

Additional considerations

Ad blockers and browser extensions

Some extensions, particularly ad blockers, can interfere with the Graphics Editor or prevent graphics from loading correctly. If you experience unexpected behavior, try disabling extensions or adding Viz Flowics to your allowlist.

Hardware acceleration

Enabling hardware acceleration in your browser settings improves rendering performance, especially for complex graphics with multiple animations. This setting is usually found under your browser's Advanced Settings.

Common issues

The Graphics Editor is not loading or behaving unexpectedly

Try opening Flowics in an incognito/private window to rule out extension conflicts. If it works in incognito, a browser extension is likely causing the issue.

Graphics look different in the production system than in the browser

This is usually a CEF version mismatch. Update your production system to the latest version and test again.
