Integrating Viz Flowics live graphics into a video post-production workflow is made possible with NDI tools.

To do this, you’ll need to convert Viz Flowics overlays into video assets that can be imported into your post-production workflow. Whether you’re working with a single overlay or an extensive graphics package, remember, each overlay requires its own video export. So, if your graphics package includes x overlays, you’ll ultimately export x videos.

In this article, we’ll cover each step to help you export overlays and convert them into video format using the NDI Converter app and NDI tools, ensuring smooth integration into your workflow.

Requirements

  • Download NDI Studio Monitor here.

  • Having installed the Flowics NDI Converter (Contact our support team at support@flowics.com if you don't have the NDI Converter app)

  • The output URL of your graphics package.

  2. Enter the URL in the Flowics NDI Converter app

  3. Click on Connect.

  4. In the NDI Studio Monitor, select the option for the Flowics NDI Converter, which will appear with the name given in the NDI Output Stream Name.

  5. Set folder where this video file is stored, you can check the path in the application.

Once these steps are completed, the next step is to record the graphic displayed in the Studio Monitor. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Record button inside the Studio Monitor.

  2. Wait 3 seconds, and from your Remote Control/Rundown Control in Viz Flowics, run the overlay you wish to render.

  3. Stop the recording, click the Record button again in the NDI Studio Monitor. A small box with the video symbol will appear.

You can now use the video within your editing software for post-production. Watch the following video to learn how to do this:
