Viz Flowics

Viz Flowics Support is available for MOS protocol version 2.8

Please make sure you have ENPS version 9.4 or later installed to complete this integration.

This integration allows connecting ENPS to Viz Flowics. 

The communication between ENPS and Viz Flowics occurs via the MOS protocol facilitating the direct transmission of news and stories directly to the Viz Flowics remote control's rundown interface for real-time on-air broadcasting.

To register the MOS Gateway and the Flowics Plugin in ENPS, follow the steps below.

In the ENPS client click on Apps (1)

then click on System Maintenance (2)

1. In the ENPS client click on Apps (1)
2. then click on System Maintenance (2)

Once inside the System Maintenance menu, go to MOS configuration, and then you should add a new row with the following parameters:

Address: set the MOS ID from MOS Config

IP/Endpoint: enter the Hostname or IP address of the NCS Gateway server.

Default Settings: paste the plugin URL

Click on Save and restart the ENPS Client application.

2. Description: VizFlowics
3. IP/Endpoint: enter the Hostname or IP address of the NCS Gateway server.
4. Active X: ENPSHTMLHOST
5. Program: ENPSNEWS
6. Default Settings: paste the plugin URL
7. MOS version: 2.8.4
8. Local DragDrop: set Off 
9. Browser type: Chromium
10. Click on Save and restart the ENPS Client application.

In order to add graphics from Viz Flowics to ENPS and be able to use them, it is necessary to follow the following steps :

Unfold the main menu by clicking on the upper left corner

In the Title field type in a name for your rundown

1. Unfold the main menu by clicking on the upper left corner
2. Create a new Rundown
3. In the Title field type in a name for your rundown
4. Click on save

After creating a new Rundown you will need to add stories to it. 

simply click on Rundown in the top bar

1. simply click on Rundown in the top bar
2. then click on Insert Row

An alternative way is by using the shortcut Ctrl + I.

Right-click on the bottom bar where the MOS connection is.

1. Right-click on the bottom bar where the MOS connection is.
2. Select Flowics

Select the Project where you have created the graphics package

Choose the Overlay you want to work with.

1. Select the Project where you have created the graphics package
2. Select the graphics package
3. Choose the Overlay you want to work with.
4. Click on Use Template

5. Fill in the fields of the selected template. 6. Click on “Add to Story”.

       7. Within the content of the stories, a new item will be generated, it will contain the graphic that you just added.

       8. Every time a new template is added within ENPS, it is necessary to save the changes by clicking on the "Save" option or using the shortcut Ctrl + S.

After saving your Rundown in ENPS Client, all the created templates will be available within the Viz Flowics Rundown for you to operate them.
